Print-on-Demand Provider Adds Second Location, With Projections to Add More Jobs
Pic The Gift (PTG), a St. Louis-based print-on-demand provider specializing in personalized custom
gifts, announces its expansion to a second new facility in Wentzville, Missouri. The new building has a 72,000-sq.-ft. footprint. According to the company, it will support growth by adding additional manufacturing and warehousing capacity.
PTG is excited for the new location to both warehouse and produce all types of orders, which began in March of 2023. The facility was originally used for sewing only and will now have the capability to print, press, and cut and sew the majority of items PTG has to offer.
“The additional space will support the company’s continued growth and will result in quicker turnaround times for our growing customer base,” PTG’s Chief Operating Officer Keith Abert said in a press release. “Wentzville is the perfect location for expansion as it’s known to be the fastest growing commercial area in the region supported by a large workforce.”
Abert tells Apparelist that PTG recently installed equipment at the new facility in addition to the sewing and cutting machines it already has. That list includes an industrial dye-sublimation inkjet printer, a large-format rotary heat press, and laser cutter for textiles.
PTG has been in its main facility since 2019, which boasts 50,000 sq. ft. Overall, the company employs 150 full-time employees, but Abert states that will likely grow with this new facility. “We plan to add 20-30 full-time employees over the course of 2023,” he says.
