Right on time for Earth Day, which took place this past month, Atlantis Headwear and Caps Direct announced their new licensing partnership, which will bring custom sustainable headwear to North America.

Founded in 1995 and based in Italy, one of Atlantis Headwear’s goals is to reduce the waste of natural resources by creating a positive impact for people and the environment. One way they plan to achieve this is through the partnership. “We’re excited to offer a streamlined process for customizing sustainable headwear that encompasses each company’s expertise,” Federico Pasini, Atlantis Headwear brand and sales director, said of working with Caps Direct. “This partnership … will allow us to build and better serve our customers in North America.”

Caps Direct has over 20 years of experience in headwear. “Atlantis is the global leader in sustainable headwear,” said Jason Krakow, president of Caps Direct, in a press release. “Through this licensing partnership, we are proud to incorporate meaningful sustainability into the brands our customers build.”

Atlantis Headwear will offer 11 styles in a variety of colors as the starting point for customization that represents a wide cross section of its sustainable headwear collection. The options include a variety of colors and incorporate environmentally conscious materials such as recycled cotton, recycled polyester, and Polylana fiber.

The team at Caps Direct will provide service from concept development to finished product delivery, working with Atlantis through a shared factory.
