Buffalo Wild Wings’ Apparel Line Launched for March Madness Still in the Game (Even if Your Bracket Isn’t)
Buffalo Wild Wings, the official sports bar of March Madness, launched a limited-edition apparel collection in partnership with Overtime, a brand for next-generation sports fans, just in time for March Madness. The big dance may have already begun, thus locking your bracket’s fate, but the restaurant chain’s first-ever apparel collaboration exclusively drops in The Overtime Shop throughout the entire tournament, which unlocks only during overtime of men’s and women’s games.
According to a press release, the line includes a black hoodie and T-shirt printed with “OVERTIME” in varsity letters with the sports bar’s sauce dripping over the font. Fans can purchase the hoodie for $65 and the T-shirt for $35 exclusively at shop.overtime.tv/collections/buffalowildwings once a game goes into overtime, creating a reason to keep watching even if your bracket is already busted. At the time of writing, there have been five games that have gone into overtime.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Overtime to launch our first-ever apparel collab that showcases what Buffalo Wild Wings is known for — our signature sauces,” Rita Patel, chief marketing officer at Buffalo Wild Wings, said in the press release. “Not only will overtime unlock this exclusive apparel, but it also means free wings as we bring back Overtime Wingtime for the second straight year.”
That’s right, not only can fans unlock cool apparel, but they can also get some free food. When a men’s or women’s game goes into overtime, Buffalo Wild Wings will dish out free boneless wings to Blazin’ Rewards members. To qualify, members need to check-in at a restaurant location or place an e-commerce order via Blazin’ Rewards on the same day a game goes to overtime within 30 minutes of the game ending. If you’ve checked in or placed an order via Blazin’ Rewards and an NCAA tournament matchup goes to overtime, six free boneless wings will be delivered to your Blazin’ Rewards account the following day.
