FLEXpoint co-founders Jay Busselle and Jessica Gibbons-Rauch bring a special training event to people in the branded merch, promo, print, and apparel industries. The online training class Leveraging LinkedIn is happening on March 15, 2-3:30 p.m. EST, and will feature ideas and perspectives from industry leaders on social selling and using LinkedIn.

The session will teach attendees how to tell their stories, build trust, and attract their target communities on LinkedIn through creative content and well-curated profiles.

Asking why he wanted to bring this training event to the industry, Busselle tells Apparelist:

“The story behind the event is my desire for the last three years to help teach promo, print, and apparel peeps that LinkedIn is a fantastic business tool that is under-valued and has so much potential. It shouldn’t shock me anymore, but I still struggle when I meet serious business owners that have an old and outdated personal profile and no business page on LinkedIn. There are 30 million daily active users on LinkedIn — why would you want to look old, outdated, or invisible to that community?”

So, what makes Leveraging LinkedIn different from others focused on social media? The industry-specific lineup of presenters, according to Busselle. Presenters will share their approaches to LinkedIn, and supplier partners — Maple Ridge Farms, HPG Brands, Le Tour de Spice, and S&S Activewear — will provide ready-to-share, exclusive content.

Presenters include:

  • Jeremy Picker, AMB3R Creative
  • Savannah Dmytriw, Team SCG
  • Kevin Mulaney, Brandito
  • Sarah Whitaker, Williams Advertising
  • Mitch Silver, Printable
  • Tom Rauen, Shirt Lab/1800Tshirts.com
  • Meg Erber, S&S Activewear
  • Charity Gibson, Peerless

Early bird registration is $69 per person.
