PRINTING United Expo, set to take place Oct. 22-24, 2025 in Orlando, Florida, is the place where the industry gathers every year to explore new technologies, top trends, and connect with the latest and greatest advancements.

Leading the charge in new technologies in the apparel decoration community is direct-to-film (DTF) printing, UV printing, and even UV-DTF. Those technologies are what’s driving Cheryl Kuchek of Just My Imagination DeZigns Inc. to attend this year. But exploring the newest technologies isn’t the only thing bringing Cheryl to the show.

Apparelist: Have you attended PRINTING United Expo previously?

CK: Yes! I’ve been at least four times and always walk away inspired.

Apparelist: What brings you to the 2025 PRINTING United Expo?

CK: I love seeing what is new and trending, especially right now with UV and DTF printers. This is the best place to see them all in one spot. Plus, it’s always great to reconnect and catch up with industry friends.

Apparelist: Let’s talk more about the technology you’re interested in. why are you excited to explore that?

CK: I’m really excited to see what’s next with UV and DTF printing. Those areas are experiencing rapid growth and change. I also love seeing who is innovating new products and equipment for the personalization and maker space. Additionally, I’m curious to hear who will be sharing on how AI is shaping the future of our industry. And while I always enjoy discovering new substrates for sublimation, what excites me most is seeing what’s new in the industry as a whole. There’s always something fresh and inspiring to take back and report on.

Apparelist: Do you have any advice you can share with those who may be unsure about attending?

CK: If you want to stay on top of what’s happening in the industry and maker space, this is the show you don’t want to miss. Everything you need to see and learn is right here. My advice is to plan to stay the entire show; it’s almost impossible to see it all in one day, and you won’t want to miss anything.

It’s always more than just a trade show. It’s a chance to get inspired, see new things, and witness firsthand how rapidly the industry is evolving. Every year, I leave with fresh ideas and a renewed excitement for what’s possible.
