Headwear Maker Imperial Sponsors Youth Golf Program First Tee
Bourbon, Missouri-based headwear manufacturer Imperial, known for its golf hats, announces its one-year sponsorship of First Tee, a nonprofit organization that helps young people build character and learn life values through golf.
Imperial’s philanthropic organization, “The Imperial Foundation” (established in 2023), is the one behind the sponsorship. As a Cause Inspired Partner of First Tee, The Imperial Foundation will engage with First Tee HQ and chapters across the U.S. This includes supporting events, community programs, and more.
“Imperial sponsorship includes, but isn’t limited to, a First Tee collection of apparel and headwear and marketing collaboration announcements throughout First Tee organization,” Jerry Biag, director of marketing at Imperial, shares with Apparelist.
First Tee has a network of 150 chapters, 11,450 schools, and 2,000 youth centers with locations in all 50 states.
Imperial says its philanthropic foundation was established to support programs like First Tee — programs that are driving the game of golf for juniors.
“Imperial is proud to be a Cause Inspired Partner of First Tee,” says Biag. “Our goal in this collaboration aims to empower young athletes, foster character development, and promote the love of golf among the next generation.”
