Infinity Product Group (IPG) and Infinity Her, an IPG division that specializes in headwear for women, hosted a sample sale to benefit those affected by Hurricane Helene.

The sample sale fundraiser, held on Nov. 22 at IPG’s Arkansas warehouse, featured items priced under $5, including headwear styles like baseball caps, bucket hats, and beanies, as well as other products like team sports gear, graphic T-shirts, and Comfy Critters.

The pair donated 100% of the profits from sales to Patriot Relief WNC to support families in North Carolina displaced by Hurricane Helene. The initiative was led by Ramona Watson, vice president of product development and marketing at IPG, in collaboration with Leigh Brown, founder of Patriot Relief WNC.

“Hurricane Helene had devastating and lasting effects,” Watson says. “These communities are still feeling the impact and will for a long time. With the holidays approaching, we wanted to extend additional support to help bring some relief and hope to those still recovering.”

The IPG team prepared for the event by organizing a large assortment of samples and inventory, creating a designated shopping area in the warehouse.

They promoted the event via social media channels and buy-and-sell groups, generating an overwhelming response from the community. Attendees were lined up early and contributed additional donations beyond their purchases.

With the great success of the event, Infinity Her and IPG plan to host sample sale fundraisers every quarter to continue making an impact on charitable causes. This event is one of many ways Infinity Her gives back to the community. In October 2024, the brand announced the return of its “Caps for a Cause” initiative — a program that donates 5% of the total profits from certain sales to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“As someone very familiar with the Asheville area having visited several times, I was following the disaster relief efforts closely after Hurricane Helene,” Watson tells Apparelist. “Through that, I connected with Leigh Brown, a dedicated community member and founder of Patriot Relief WNC. Leigh was truly boots on the ground, providing real-time updates on what was most needed. Working alongside her, we ensured that proceeds from the sample sale went directly toward essential items for the community.”
