This year’s Shirt Lab event, held in New Orleans from July 28-29, centered around better ways to develop and run an apparel decorating business. From start to finish, presenters discussed everything from creating communities to company culture, data points to examine for efficiency, building leadership qualities, and more. Presenters included:

  • Jay Busselle – “Building Communities in the Collaboration Café”
  • Ali Banholzer – “Getting IT Done”
  • Jenna Sackett – “Great Leads are Loyal”
  • Lori Feldman – “Maximizing Revenue with Drip Marketing Automation”
  • Tom Rauen – “Referrals Elevated”
  • Mike Michalowicz – “ALL IN: How Great Leaders Build Unstoppable Teams”

The event also presented several networking opportunities, including the famous Rock, Paper, Scissors contest. The winner, Stephanie Home with Dapper Ink from Greenville, South Carolina, took home the hat press prize.

According to Marshall Atkinson, one of the founding members of Shirt Lab, there were 75 attendees at the event. “Everyone enjoyed the breakout sessions as it brought new ideas to share,” he said of the new hands-on format.
