You might be tired of Tom Brady being in the news, but he sure isn’t. The superstar quarterback is once again making headlines in the apparel world, this time through a partnership with a college quarterback.

Brady’s clothing brand, BRADY, recently announced a name, image, likeness (NIL) partnership with Shedeur Sanders, quarterback for the Jackson State University Tigers, according to a press release from People.

The son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, Shedeur has found himself in the spotlight before when he decided to decommit from Florida Atlantic University and instead attend Jackson State, an HBCU (historically black colleges and universities), to play for his father. Shedeur is the first individual to sign with the apparel brand since it officially debuted, though he was part of a group of 10 athletes who helped originally promote BRADY through a marketing campaign when it first launched.

And while it might be the first NIL deal for the BRADY brand, it’s not Shedeur’s first. According to a report by CBS Sports, a few of his other NIL deals include Beats by Dre and Gatorade. He is currently listed at No. 14 on On3’s NIL 100 list with a valuation of $1.2 million.

“Shedeur Sanders is the perfect ambassador for BRADY,” seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady said in an exclusive interview for PEOPLE. “He embodies everything we look for in a BRADY athlete and his character and values align perfectly with our brand.”

“Tom has been a longtime mentor to me, both on and off the field, and I’ve been a fan of his apparel brand since its inception, so this partnership feels like a natural next step,” the younger Sanders said. “I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to join the list of world-class athletes that represent the brand.”
