It seems there is a day for everything: National Donut Day, National T-shirt Day, National Bring Your Child to Work Day. Many of these are associated with a cause, many are nonsensical, and sometimes, they’re both. For those who don’t keep up, August 5 is National Underwear Day, and Gildan has decided to celebrate it again for the third year in a row.

The apparel manufacturer has partnered with country music star Chris Lane to create a sweepstakes full of fun prizes that will run the entire month of August. Participants can win weekly giveaways, plus an ultimate prize featuring concert tickets and a personal meet-and-greet with Lane is also up for grabs.

Gildan first teased the partnership by sharing a silhouette of the country singer on Instagram on August 4 followed by a full reveal on August 5 featuring a photo of Lane playing his acoustic guitar in just his boxer briefs and a T-shirt. “We’re giving 1 lucky winner a chance to win concert tickets and a personal meet and greet with Chris Lane at an upcoming show. Plus, if you win, you’ll receive exclusive Chris Lane merch and a men’s underwear prize pack filled with your new favorite basics!” reads the Instagram post.

Before you go thinking this is only about underwear, there is a charitable tie. In the same post, Gildan announced it has also partnered with The Laundry Stop, a free mobile laundry service for those in need that is “near and dear to Chris’ heart.” An assortment of underwear, undershirts, and socks will be donated to help support those in need in Lane’s hometown of Nashville.
