We’ve all heard the phrase (perhaps too many times), “Screen printing is dead,” but lately, some might be wondering: “Is DTG dead?” With the advent of direct-to-film (DTF) printing, and multitudes of decorators switching to the technology, the industry is once again seeing a remolding.

However, that doesn’t mean DTG, or any decorating technology for that matter, is dead. Rather, it’s crucial to examine all technologies from an educated business standpoint, understanding how each plays a role within your shop.
