Sustainability continues to pop up in apparel decoration, from printers wanting to know more to suppliers in the space looking to bolster their impact. S&S Activewear is one of those companies. Continuing its commitment to sustainability and growth, S&S welcomes Alaina Brooks as its chief legal officer.

About Alaina Brooks

Brooks has over two decades of experience, having served on leadership teams focused on strategic planning, operational performance, and company culture. Throughout her career, she has equipped companies with expert direction on legal, compliance, ESG, and regulatory matters, including commercial transactions and litigation to corporate governance.

“We are on a mission to inspire and foster growth for our customers, employees, and vendors,” said CEO Frank Myers in a press release. “I value the breadth and depth of expertise that Alaina brings to S&S, and with her as our chief legal officer, our team, business, vendors, and customers will all benefit. We are thrilled to have Alaina and know her expertise and guidance are a welcomed addition to our team.”

Brooks has also successfully managed human resources, communications, and contract administration departments. She also holds expansive experience in ESG program development and sustainability measurement and reporting, which strengthens S&S’s commitment to these types of initiatives.

“I enjoy practicing law and, in particular, doing it in-house with a company as part of their business team,” Brooks shared. “I’m excited to collaborate with this dynamic team, harnessing our collective expertise to navigate legal complexities and drive innovative strategies for S&S and our continued success and growth.”

This is just one step S&S has taken toward its ESG efforts. It recently partnered with Give Back Box in a textile recycling program.
