The Joe Burrow Foundation aims to “provide resources and support to the underprivileged and underserved,” according to the 501(c)3’s site, while Where I’m From Apparel aims to “help people celebrate the places that have shaped them into who they are today.”
Paying homage to Burrow’s time playing football for Louisiana State University and now in Cincinnati, the pair created the “Let’s Do Good” collection for fans, featuring T-shirts, stickers, and pullovers that read “Do good,” among other sayings and graphics. All proceeds go to the foundation, helping families in Ohio and Louisiana overcome food insecurity and childhood mental health issues.
“Everyone has a responsibility to do good,” Burrow said in a news release. “This is a fun and easy way to join our foundation in doing some good in two communities that have meant a lot to me and my family. There will be plenty of bragging rights for the city that sells the most apparel, but the real winners will be the families served by our foundation.”
The campaign ran through Dec. 10, and you can still check out the “Let’s Do Good” collection here.
“Since the beginning of our partnership with Joe, we have been looking forward to the launch of his foundation,” says Ryan Napier, co-founder of Where I’m From Apparel. “Now that the charity is up and running, we are extremely excited for the opportunity to be involved in raising money for such worthy causes.”
