PRI: What made you decide to attend this year’s Expo?
I’ve been in the decoration industry for the past 20 years and have focused more on Impressions and attended [PRINTING] United once before. I want to continually stay on top of the latest trends and want to have PRINTING United on my list of shows to attend, as you have a wider selection of suppliers. It will be a good compliment. I attend Impressions in Long Beach to see the latest and greatest at the start of the year.
PRI: What specific technology, equipment, processes, or exhibitors are you planning to check out?
Big on automation of processes. I’ll be exploring all automation/robotics that are being used in this industry from embroidery, hat pressing, DTF, etc. It’s all about how to make something more cost-efficient while offering quick turn and top qualityBrande
PRI: Are you planning to connect with any partners or peers while you’re at the Expo? What kinds of conversations are you hoping to have?
Yes — will discuss automation/robotics and planning of capacities and new products in headwear and apparel on what is trending.
PRI: How does attending the Expo support your company’s broader goals over the next year?
Hopefully, it will give me ideas on what the trends are and what can equipment suppliers offer me in efficiency and tracking.
PRI: What’s one trend or challenge within printing/decoration you’re keeping an eye on?
Automation, but also new fabrications, new decoration techniques. We pride ourselves in bringing to the market innovative decoration ideas.
