From Oct. 22-24, 2025, the printing industry will gather in Orlando, Florida, for PRINTING United Expo, where attendees and exhibitors will discuss the latest technology, learn about new business opportunities, and connect for some in-person networking. A highlight of the Expo for the past few years, the Apparel Zone is the place to go to learn about apparel decoration.

Beginner decorators, seasoned veterans, and those exploring adding apparel decorating to their current print operations can visit the Apparel Zone and learn about the different technologies. It’s an opportunity to connect with sponsors and learn more in an education-first environment.

As one of the sponsors for the 2025 event, American Print and Supply hopes to educate attendees on all things direct-to-film (DTF). Rob Super, CEO and founder, shares what attendees can expect.

Apparelist: How long have you been exhibiting at PRINTING United Expo?

Super: Our first year exhibiting was 2022. Before that, I had only attended as a visitor, and let me tell you, being on the exhibitor side is an entirely different experience. It’s hard to explain just how much effort goes into doing a show like this well. We’ve battle-hardened ourselves to the rigors of trade show life over the years, learning and improving with each event. PRINTING United 2025 will be our most refined, exciting, and impactful presence yet, and we can’t wait to show what’s next. This will be our fourth year as part of the Apparel Zone, and we wouldn’t miss it for anything.

Apparelist: What’s been your favorite part about sponsoring the Apparel Zone?

Super: There’s a completely different energy when it’s not just about standing in a traditional booth. The Apparel Zone is about teaching, collaborating, and being part of something that genuinely moves the industry forward. For us, education has always been at the heart of what we do, and having a marquee platform like the Apparel Zone to share our advancements and help raise the bar for digital decoration is the highlight of our trade show season.

Apparelist: What can attendees expect in this space at the Expo?

Super: The Apparel Zone is truly one-of-a-kind. It’s the only space in the U.S. that blends education, innovation, and real production in one environment. You’ll find the best of the best across every segment of apparel decoration, all under one roof. And it’s not just about selling products. The focus here is on learning, discovery, and problem-solving. If you want to see what’s possible today and where the industry is headed tomorrow, this is the place to be.

Apparelist: How do those that don’t decorate apparel benefit from visiting the Apparel Zone?

Super: First off, if you’re in the printing space and not yet decorating apparel, you’re missing a huge opportunity. With the advancements in digital technology, especially DTF printing, it’s easier than ever to add garment decoration to your offerings or outsource it with confidence. Even if it’s not part of your business today, walking through the Apparel Zone is like a live masterclass in innovation and entrepreneurship. You’ll see how other businesses are applying new technologies, solving challenges, and creating scalable systems. And maybe the biggest benefit? The people. The conversations you have here can spark ideas and partnerships that reshape your business. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the connections and insights gained from just showing up, talking shop, and sharing ideas with others in the industry.

Apparelist: Can you give us a sneak preview of what your company will showcase and talk about?

Super: If you’re looking for the apex of quality and throughput in the direct-to-film space, you’ll definitely want to stop by the Apparel Zone. We’ll be unveiling a never-before-seen cutting solution called “The Sentinel.” A vision-based cutting system that automates one of the most overlooked parts of DTF production: trimming transfers. In other words, it’s time to retire the scissors and forget about DXF cut files. The Sentinel takes DTF production from “efficient” to fully streamlined, combining speed, precision, and reliability in a way the market hasn’t seen before.

If you want to see what true production-level quality and velocity look like in the DTF space, come visit us. At our booth, which is right across the aisle from the Apparel Zone, we’ll be showcasing how decorators can achieve unmatched color accuracy, consistent uptime, and high profit margins using our flagship Kraken and Hydra systems. Those systems or one of our other industrial-grade DTF systems, paired with our white-glove installation, training, and support, will blow you away. Our mission is simple: help small businesses climb the next rung of the ladder with reliable systems that keep them competitive and profitable, no matter how the market shifts. We don’t count success by the number of units we sell; instead, we count partnerships created with our customers. And of course, we have an incredible team. Whether you’re exploring equipment, looking for production insight, or just want to talk shop, we’re here for you. At the end of the day, it’s all about helping small businesses thrive.
