In some exciting equipment news, Epson announces that its latest SureColor F-series hybrid printer, the F1070, is now available. The direct-to-garment (DTG)/direct-to-film (DTF) printer is ideal for garment decorators, entrepreneurs, artisans, and other print service providers, says the company.

The hybrid model allows decorators to tackle a wide range of substrates and fabrics. With the machine, custom apparel shop Crystal’s Kre*ations has reintroduced DTG printing in-house and expanded print services to include DTF for added revenue.

“It has become an integral part of our daily operations, and we’re excited to continue growing the business with its hybrid capabilities,” Owner Steven Salazar shared.

“Design versatility is crucial for small business designers, and having a cost-effective hybrid DTG and DTFilm printing solution can be a game-changer,” added Lily Hunter, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America. “This new model provides access to personalized apparel, as well as the ability to transfer images to a variety of other unique products, and can be a lifeline for artisan businesses looking to share their designs.”

The SureColor F1070 is available through Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Resellers for just under $8,000.
