It’s natural to attend PRINTING United Expo to engage with and evaluate the latest printing equipment and software solutions. But if you aren’t also immersing yourself in the newest trends in blank apparel, you’re missing a huge opportunity as an attendee.
Taking place Sept. 23-25, 2026, the Expo is timed perfectly for those apparel decorators who are prepping for the turn of the calendar. As the community gears up for the final months of 2026 and the onset of 2027, getting ahead of the latest styles, colors, and fabrics is a crucial part of running a business.
SanMar, the exclusive blanks sponsor of the Apparel Zone, is ready to show Expo attendees what they should offer their customers. Attendees can get product insight in both the company’s Zone display as well as their show floor booth. “In our booth, [attendees] will see the latest in blank apparel fashion, bags, headwear, outwear, and see the biggest brands in the industry all in one [spot],” says Jason Murphy, senior channel manager, Decoration & Technology Affiliates, SanMar. “At the Apparel Zone you will find the latest technology and techniques for printing apparel! We see customers coming to see new technology, and we also see those who are new to decorating apparel coming to get an overview of what it looks like to get into decorating apparel.”
Murphy draws attention to a crucial aspect of the Apparel Zone: it’s all about education and immersing yourself in apparel decoration, and not about sales. “We truly love to meet everyone from inside and outside of the apparel industry,” Murphy expresses. “If you have any deco questions and are near SanMar’s booth, we have our Decorator Solutions Team on the floor. With over 200+ years of experience, we are happy to guide you and make introductions wherever we can.”
Combined with all of the latest decorating equipment, the Apparel Zone is truly a comprehensive hub for any apparel decorator, and those that haven’t yet begun the journey but are interested.
“It’s a quick look into what technology is available and how easy it is to transition into or add apparel to your current offering,” Murphy says of the Zone experience.
Ultimately, he encourages all Expo attendees, regardless of the print vertical they operate in, to come to the Expo ready to engage. “If there is anything I truly believe and always tell customers at these shows, is to curious,” he advises. “Take the time to stop into booths that interest you and ask questions!”
