Shirt Lab Announces Launch of New FastTrack Profit Sprint
Shirt Lab announces the launch of its new FastTrack Profit Sprint, a six-week virtual working program designed specifically for decorated apparel businesses that want to improve profitability without simply working harder or selling more.
Beginning June 18, 2026, the Profit Sprint will guide shop owners through a structured process to understand where profit is earned, where it is lost, and how to build systems that deliver consistent financial results.
Unlike traditional finance courses filled with accounting terminology and spreadsheets, the Profit Sprint is designed for implementation, according to a press release. Participants will work directly on their own businesses each week using guided worksheets, discussions, and practical exercises focused on real-world shop operations.
“Most shop owners know they’re busy, but many don’t know if they’re actually profitable,” said Marshall Atkinson, co-founder of Shirt Lab, in a press statement. “This sprint helps owners understand their numbers, identify where profit is leaking out of the business, and build a system for making better financial decisions every week.”
Throughout the six-week program, attendees will work through a series of profit-building exercises covering financial visibility, profit targets, pricing discipline, operational efficiency, customer profitability, and ongoing profit management.
Key FastTrack Profit Sprint Topics
- Understanding where money is actually going inside the business
- Defining realistic profit targets and financial goals
- Building pricing guardrails to prevent undercharging
- Identifying operational mistakes and inefficiencies that reduce profit
- Recognizing which customers and jobs create the most value
- Creating a repeatable weekly profit management system
Participants will leave the sprint with:
- A clear understanding of their current profit position
- Defined profit goals tied to business objectives
- Better pricing confidence and quoting discipline
- A process for identifying and fixing profit leaks
- A profile of their most profitable customers and work
- A practical system for generating profit intentionally rather than accidentally
Each session includes a working component designed to produce immediate action and measurable results. Participants are expected to complete exercises during the sessions and implement changes between meetings.
“The goal isn’t more theory,” Atkinson explained in the press release. “The goal is building a business that generates profit on purpose. Every worksheet, discussion, and assignment is designed to help owners make decisions that improve financial performance.”
The Profit Sprint is designed for:
- Shop owners
- General managers
- Operations leaders
- Sales managers
- Production managers
- Anyone responsible for profitability and business performance
The six-week virtual program begins June 18, 2026.
Registration is now open and is $97 for non-Shirt Lab Tribe members. For program details and registration, visit shirtlabtribe.com/fasttrack/profit.
