Jesse Poteet, founder of Startup Screen Printing and owner of Alpine Apparel Co., announces the launch of The Print Crew, a free community built specifically for screen printers who want to grow sustainable, profitable businesses.

According to a press release, The Print Crew focuses exclusively on the business side of apparel decoration — helping side gigs, solo operators, and small teams tackle challenges like pricing, customer acquisition, sales processes, and scaling operations without sacrificing their quality of life.

“Most print shop owners start because they love the craft, but somewhere along the way it turns into constant scrambling instead of clarity,” said Poteet in a press statement. “The real problem isn’t a lack of information — it’s that shop owners are building alone. The Print Crew is where you stop figuring everything out by yourself.”

Print Crew Sessions: Monthly Workshops Streamed Free

The first session officially kicked off on February 5th at 7 p.m. MT. Going forward, The Print Crew will host monthly live workshops called Print Crew Sessions. All sessions will be broadcast free to Print Crew members, with optional paid access for interactive participation and coaching.

The first session, “I Need More Customers,” addressed marketing strategies that actually work for print shops, focusing on local SEO, partnerships, and focused outreach over scattered social media efforts.

“These aren’t theoretical workshops,” Poteet explained. “Every session includes live hot seat coaching where I work through real situations with real shop owners. The goal is that everyone walks away with a clear next step, not just inspiration.”
