Leaning into education and the value of in-person events, Apparelist announces that DuPont Artistri will be a keynote sponsor of the 2026 Apparel Decoration Summit. DuPont will join S&S Activewear and Kornit Digital to help support the event at the keynote level.

Now in its fourth year, the Apparel Decoration Summit brings together high-level executives in the apparel decorating community to network with companies like DuPont, who has been a sponsor of the event every year since its inception.

“The Apparel Decoration Summit is the one of the best events we participate in every year,” says Scott Donovan, North America commercial lead for DuPont. As someone who got his first exposure to screen printing and apparel decorating during his college days, Donovan understands the importance of attending and participating in these types of educational events.

“We love the laser focus of the event, the attendees and the other participating companies,” he says. “It is a really collaborative, must-attend event for anyone involved in apparel decoration.”

A Relentless Focus on Innovation

Over the years, DuPont has been a leader when it comes to developing and launching new technology. According to Robert Simpson, global general manager who has been with DuPont Artistri since 2002, the company is currently focused on delivering growth through solving customer challenges.

“Our relentless focus on understanding what our customers need and bringing them innovation to meet those needs is what excites me the most, especially in the apparel decoration space,” Simpson says. “Direct-to-film (DTF) continues to be the largest upheaval in the [apparel decorating] market, and DuPont is leaning into accelerating its market adoption.”

One way the company accelerates the DTF growth is through developing new products, with a special focus this year on its no-powder solution to DTF: Jettable Adhesive.

“This product eliminates the need for TPU powder, which is another variable that has to be managed in the mechanical process and at an employee/environmental level,” Donovan says. But they don’t plan to stop there: “We will continue to develop our DTF film offering,” he adds.

The Summit provides a perfect platform to get these innovations in front of the who’s-who in the apparel industry, Simpson believes. “With the launch of JA1100 [Jettable Adhesive], we wanted to take the opportunity to expand our visibility and reach” he says. “The Apparel Decoration Summit is a key event for DuPont Artistri to drive brand awareness and to get critical VOC from the market so we can be working on solutions to overcome tomorrow’s challenges.”

Both Simpson and Donovan believe participating as a keynote sponsor of the event only further promotes the benefits of providing new technology to the apparel decorating market. But it’s also more than that.

“The Apparel Decoration Summit allows decorators to grow their network of peers, suppliers, and maybe meet some potential customers,” Simpson says. “Decorators should come prepared share their unique challenges and what they need from their ink supplier to help them grow.”
