Imperial Headwear is set to continue its partnership with The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) through 2026. For the past six years, Imperial has been the Official Headwear Sponsor of the AJGA, sponsoring and promoting over 200 events per year as well as assuming title sponsorship of one AJGA event each year. This year’s sponsored tournament is the “Imperial Junior Classic,” set to take place in August 2025 at Big Sky Golf Course in Montana.

Imperial created a collection of limited-edition AJGA headwear available for purchase on its website. Blank versions of some styles from this collection — including the L210P, 1287, 5054, 6054, 7054, and 1371P — are available for use in the promotional industry through 17 Sportsman Cap & Bag distributor locations.

“As Imperial continues to invest in the game of golf, we are proud to continue our involvement with the AJGA and support junior golf at the highest competitive level,” said David Shaffer, president of brand at Imperial Headwear, in a press statement. “I am a proud alum myself and believe it played an important role in shaping my future, as well as the lives of thousands of junior golfers across the country every year.”

The company also announced in 2024 that it signed a one-year sponsorship of First Tee, a nonprofit organization that helps young people build character and learn life values through golf. Imperial’s philanthropic organization, “The Imperial Foundation” (established in 2023), is the one behind the sponsorship.
