Support Programs, Fundraisers, and Community Aid for Those Impacted by LA Fires

As the wildfires continue to wreak havoc in the Los Angeles area, many companies have already stepped up to provide aid and assistance. Across the country, fundraisers, donations, and other resources are now available to those impacted by the devastation.
Along with help from larger organizations such as the Red Cross, many companies in the apparel industry are also offering support in a variety of ways. The following vetted list can be used to search for support and find additional ways the rest of the community can help. Note that information was reported on Jan. 13, 2025 – updates will be added as discovered.
Jan. 30 Update
Gildan donates $200,000 worth of American Apparel and Gildan garments to FireAid, a concert benefiting those affected by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. Shirts and hoodies will be available for purchase at the event with all funds from their sale going directly to short-term relief efforts as well as long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters in Southern California.
Scheduled for January 30, FireAid features two lineups of artists and will be held at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Los Angeles. FireAid will also be broadcast and streamed across multiple platforms, as well as in select AMC Movie Theaters. Also among apparel sponsors for the benefit concert is BELLA+CANVAS. The company announced in an Instagram post that at the concert, attendees “will find donated BELLA+CANVAS merch featuring designs created by Yoshitomo Nara,” an artist that donated his time to create a custom collection dedicated to helping those impacted by the fires. BELLA says net proceeds from merch sales at the event will directly support FireAidLA’s releif efforts.
Jan. 22 Update

Supacolor and Lane Seven Apparel Team Up for T-Shirt Fundraiser
Supacolor announces via an Instagram reel that it teamed up with fellow Los Angeles company Lane Seven Apparel on a “Los Angeles Strong” T-shirt to raise funds for those affected by the wildfires.
“With the print and T-shirt sponsored, 100% of your purchase will be equally donated to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery, where your contribution will go toward the most impacted and the most vulnerable Angelenos who can be overlooked in traditional relief efforts, and to the LAFD Wildfire Emergency Fund, to equip our LAFD members battling wildfires with much-needed equipment and supplies. 🤝💪🚒,” the Instagram caption reads.

BELLA+CANVAS Extends Clothing Drive
BELLA+CANVAS extends its clothing donation drive, which began on Jan. 13, to Jan. 31. The brand wants to ensure anyone affected by the fires has the chance to receive essential items. Hours run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday through Jan. 31 at its Commerce, California, headquarters. The company will provide large tote bags for individuals to fill with needed items.
For those who cannot make it to the Commerce Relief hub, BELLA+CANVAS is taking delivery orders. All delivery requests will be handled through direct messages on its social media channels.
“Please note that while we will do our best to deliver as quickly as possible, it may take up to 3 days for your local delivery to arrive through our volunteer efforts. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.” the company shares.
Supacolor Accepting Donations at Its Location

Supacolor announced that it is accepting donations at its Hawthorne, California location. The company is taking a variety of items from toilet paper to baby diapers, socks, blankets, and more. The location is open from Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

BELLA+CANVAS Hosting Clothing Drive

BELLA+CANVAS is currently hosting a clothing donation drive for those personally affected by the fires and in need of clothing from Jan. 13-Jan. 18, 2025 at its Commerce, California office. The hours run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The company will provide large tote bags for individuals to fill with needed items.

Fanatics Teams up with League Partners

Fanatics joined its league partners and the LA sporting world to support those impacted by the fires to release a series of “LA Strong” T-shirts. According to a report shared by Rolling Stone as well as an Instagram post from the company, proceeds will go the American Red Cross and the LA Fire Department Foundation. Los Angeles Apparel Providing Items
Los Angeles Apparel is offering free T-shirts, socks, and other essentials to those displaced by the fires. The company asked via an Instagram post that those in need message them directly for special requests. Please check in with the company on updated hours and details.

Next Level Teaming up for Support
Next Level Apparel shared on Instagram that it is working with local centers such as Collins & Katz Family YMCA as well as the Student Lunchbox, a nonprofit organization. The company is working with the company to donate apparel to college students and their families affected by the fires.
Los Angeles Clothing Brands Launch Fundraising T-shirts
WWD shared that clothing brands such as Clare V. and The Hundreds — among so many others — released special T-shirts that directly benefit those who’ve been affected by the fires. Specifically:
- Clare V. released two T-shirt designs and a hat, with 100% of profits from the sales to go toward the American Red Cross
- The Hundreds T-shirt was created in partnership with the global and L.A.-based humanitarian organization CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort)
Be Hippy Clothing Brand Fundraiser
Be Hippy, a clothing brand based in Colorado, is hosting a fundraiser to help those affected by the wildfires, according to an Instagram post. From Jan. 13-Jan. 19th, the company will donate 10% of all sales to BStrong, a nonprofit that provides aid to those in need.
Duplo Pledges $10,000 to Support LA Wildfire Recovery Efforts
Shared by our sister publication, In-plant Impressions, Duplo USA Corporation announced a $10,000 donation to support immediate disaster relief and recovery operations. The funds will aid local organizations in their efforts to assist individuals and communities directly impacted by the fires. Please read the article from In-plant Impressions for more information.
Reports Shared Via Media Partners
PRINTING United Alliance’s partner, ASI, was able to reach several companies impacted by the fires. Pinnacle Designs was among promo industry firms that had to shut up shop, according to ASI’s most recent updates shared on Jan. 10. The San Fernando, California-based supplier had no power as of Wednesday, Jan. 8. Employees were working remotely and responding to clients.
Andrew Titus, president of Fully Promoted, told ASI Media Jan. 8 that the firm has several franchisees in the Los Angeles area that are in harm’s way. “Fortunately, two of the franchisee locations were confirmed safe on Jan. 9, but the status of the third remained in question” at the time of the article’s writing.
