Our Success Group, along with Becky Kotzer of BK Custom T’s, announces The Summit of Success. Scheduled for April 10-12, 2025 at the Coteau des Prairies Lodge in North Dakota, the summit will combine “practical business-building sessions with wellness and relaxation activities,” according to the collaborators.

Aaron Montgomery, founder of Our Success Group, notes that the origins of the event go back to the COVID-19 pandemic, when people were forced to gather virtually. “As a business owner myself, I know how isolating it could be and at the time due to COVID, we were having Zoom events all the time,” he tells Apparelist. “But we always talked about how awesome it would be to come together face-to-face and support each other in our growth. After publishing [my] book, I set off to figure out how to achieve the goal of positively impacting over 1,597 business owners by the end of December 2025.”

Montgomery states that one idea that came up was offering in-person workshops that eventually became the FUNdamentals Live event, which happened in June 2024. Kotzer was not only a participant, but an integral part of that event.

“We took what we learned from the June event, and I turned it over to Becky because her zone of greatness is to create community,” Montgomery states. From there, the foundation of The Summit of Success was built.

Summit of Success Model

The model of the three-day, two-night event carries a retreat aspect to it, according to Montgomery. The location is a key part of that mindset. “Having nothing to worry about for all that time with beautiful rooms, wonderful meals, snacks, entertainment, networking, learning, guiding, and supporting all being taken care of for you as a guest at this retreat is uncommon for business owners,” Montgomery feels. “As far as the agenda, we will be using ‘The FUNdamentals of Business Success’ as our guide, as well as my wife and I’s certification as success principles trainers.”

Highlights of the summit include:

Experts in various fields will lead both the wellness and business aspects of the summit. “My wife, Kylene Montgomery, will lead [many] of the wellness aspects of the event and supporting people utilizing her counselor skills and master’s degree in counseling,” Montgomery says. “Becky … is the host. We are also blessed to have one of my longtime mastermind members Sandy Lundstrom helping us with the event.”

While Montgomery notes that the summit is open to any business owner, spots are limited. The all-inclusive registration is $1,500, covering meals, lodging, and all sessions. Attendees who choose to share a room can register for $1,000 each; however, there are only 11 rooms available.

“We wish we could offer more than 11 rooms, but we are also grateful for the intimate experience we get to create,” Montgomery says. “I’m hopeful people take the chance on themselves and for the first time, many business owners invest in the most crucial part of their business: themselves.”
