Insight From Spectrum Designs
Apparelist: What are your expectations going into the Expo as first-time attendees?
Bardsley and Howe: We’re excited to attend this year to explore the latest innovations in our industry. Our goal is to both share our expertise and gain new insights that we can bring back to enhance our team’s work.
We are in a unique position as 65% of our team are on the Autism spectrum. This means any skills that we can teach them will greatly help them in not only their professional role but their personal life as well.
Apparelist: What are you most looking forward to at this year’s PRINTING United Expo?
Bardsley and Howe: We will be unveiling our new book, INKclusivity, at the Expo this year. This book is centered around employing a neurodiverse workforce in the screen printing industry and the unique benefits that can come from that. We are excited to give a sneak preview to attendees and share how they can make a difference in their own workplaces.
Apparelist: Do you have any advice for those who might be on the fence about attending?
Bardsley and Howe: We always recommend attending industry events. Attending events in the past has opened doors for us that have led to countless opportunities for us, our team, and the organization as a whole. You never know when someone you meet on the show floor might become the connection that brings your company to the next level.
We’d like to thank everyone who is attending for taking the time to share their expertise and make our industry a better place.
