LAT Apparel Names Rachel Newman as Chief Commercial Officer
Ball Ground, Georgia-based blank apparel manufacturer LAT Apparel welcomes Rachel Newman to the team as its chief commercial officer (CCO). Newman brings over 25 years of industry experience to the position, including roles in strategic growth, brand evolution, and leadership.

25 Years in the Industry
Newman’s career spans various roles, including vice president and general manager at Hanesbrands, overseeing the Printwear and Hanes Apparel divisions; in addition to playing a pivotal role as vice president of sales for Champion retail. She was a central figure in Hanesbrands’ acquisition and development strategies, including the acquisition of Alternative Apparel and the launch and growth of the ComfortWash brand. She also led the transformation of the Hanes Apparel business to thrive in e-commerce and developed relationships with major retailers for Champion, including Macy’s, Kohl’s, JCP, and TJX.
