With many markets continuing to evolve, it’s crucial for the survival of any printing shop in today’s world to pay attention to new trends and technologies. One area that currently plays a major role in the world of blended print production is digital printing.

Join industry colleagues and leaders at the inaugural Apparelist Forum, sponsored by Kornit Digital, this year at PRINTING United Expo, happening in Atlanta Oct. 18-20. The Forum will take place on Oct. 19 from 12-1:30 p.m. (lunch provided). The expert lineup of speakers has just been announced, promising to address all of your questions on the evolving printing industry trends.

This invite-only event will focus on how differentiation and competitive advantage will set printers apart from their competition through nimble production and a more efficient supply chain. It isn’t just for apparel decorators — any printer looking to expand and explore the possibilities of digital printing is invited to join.

To attend, you must fill out an interest form.

Meet the Forum Speakers

The Apparelist Forum will be broken up into two segments. The first half will feature a presentation by Don Whaley, vice president of marketing for Kornit, who will discuss the convergence of analog and digital printing in the decorated apparel industry. Information will be shared on:

  • Other print segments that have already transitioned to blended production platforms
  • Differentiation and competitive advantages, including adapting nimble production and supply chain to reduce time to market, increase customization, and respond to demand for shorter runs
  • Quality/cost equation of DTG is evolving and increasing viability for high-volume, short-run production in scale

Part two of this invite-only session will feature a user panel discussion, where representatives from different business models will discuss these market changes. There will be time for audience Q&A near the end of the user panel. Panelists will include:

Other Networking and Education Opportunities

For those unable to attend the Apparelist Forum, there are plenty of other opportunities to engage with the decorated apparel community throughout PRINTING United Expo. The Apparel Zone, booth C107, will be an interactive and engaging space to foster networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among industry professionals.

Plus, check out the free presentation series at Future State Theater. Thought leaders in the decorated apparel space will present curated content covering the latest technology innovations and decorating practices. Entry to the theater will be located on the PRINTING United Expo floor in the Future State Lounge, where you can grab a coffee (or beer), network with colleagues in comfortable seating, and even take in a live podcast.
