The 500th episode, a special celebration, takes listeners on a journey through the past, present, and future of the 2 Regular Guys Podcast, co-hosted by Aaron Montgomery and Terry Combs. The hosts reminisce about their favorite moments and episodes from the past 499 shows, sharing their takeaways from business strategies to product reviews. They also discuss their plans for the future and what lies ahead for both the show and the industry.

“Ten years ago, we were on our phones and scrambling for guests,” remembers Combs. “Since then, we’ve added a show producer, Erich Campbell, improved equipment, and events such as live broadcasts from trade shows, and we’re available everywhere people listen to podcasts.

The 2 Regular Guys Podcast was created not for their employers, but for the industry. Since its inception in February 2013, the podcast has been a source of news, interviews, and the heartbeat of garment decorating. “Over 10 years, the show has grown from ‘what’s a podcast?’ to being a legitimate part of the garment and product decorating industry,” Combs says. “And who knew how big our annual REGGIE Awards show would become every year! We’re always looking for ways to improve the quality of our show and adding to our ever-expanding range of guests.”

The hosts are humbled by the continued support of their listeners, known as the “Regulators,” and are committed to improving year after year, in its 11th season. The podcast has evolved over the years, striving to bring fresh and new content to listeners. One of the most popular segments is the news segment, featuring journalists from the industry. As the hosts look ahead, they see a future where traditional methods like screen printing and embroidery printing continue to hold their ground, while new technologies emerge to provide more options and opportunities.

“I imagine Aaron, Erich, and I would all agree the most exciting part has been meeting so many new industry friends, and bringing information and education to our listeners that might not have found a platform otherwise,” says Combs.
